I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I also have a certificate in Walk and Talk Therapy. Also I am now qualified With a Diploma in Relationship and Couples counselling so if you have an issue that needs help in this respect, please reach out for help.
I offer a private, affordable and confidential service in Chester which, due to COVID restrictions, takes place via telephone or over Zoom. I have use of a local office space in The Enterprise Centre, Blacon to offer face to face sessions.
I provide counselling in a confidential, non-judgmental and safe environment using an integrative approach to therapy, which means I can offer a range of methods in order to tailor the therapy to meet your needs.
After my formal qualifications I have continued to enhance my knowledge across many different subjects by completing a Mental Health First Aid Certificate and an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, which is a suicide first aid training. Also, I have recently added Eating Disorder training to my portfolio of skills.
I work with a wide range of issues but I have a history of working with adults who have suffered childhood sexual abuse and the trauma they now suffer with as adults due the abuse. I help them to deal with the issues and move on with their lives as they see themselves as survivors rather than victims.
I am huge supporter of mental health organisations and the work they do to help the people from different communities. My goal is to be able to help as many people as possible with their various difficulties. Along with that, I am extremely passionate about helping the most vulnerable people who feel there may be no where else to go. Due to personal experience, suicide prevention and helping families and friends of those bereaved from suicide is something I hold close to my heart.
